Femme-led. People-powered. California-wide
Building political
power for dignity, safety, care, and justice
We are a collective of femme-led organizations working to transform California’s political landscape—building a voting bloc, supporting candidates, and advancing a feminist vision for our communities.
OUR VISION
A feminist future built around human dignity.
We’re building collective power to shape elections across California and advance a feminist vision that centers human dignity, community investment, and the leadership of those most impacted by criminalization and incarceration.
Sign up and help us create a better, more just California.
Our endorsements and political work are grounded in four commitments that define the future we’re fighting for.
Why we’re here
The status quo isn’t working for our communities.
Our communities deserve more than politics as usual.
California’s political institutions have too often prioritized corporate interests, punishment, and political expediency over the fundamental needs of our communities. Poor and working-class people, women, trans people, survivors, and communities impacted by incarceration deserve something different. We’re building the political power to demand it.
Candidates
Our endorsements for Nov. 3 are in. Every candidate on this list met our standard: clean money, alignment with our platform, a real path to winning, and roots in the communities they'd serve.
State Assembly
-

Jackie Elward
State Assembly, District 12
An immigrant from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, an educator and a labor organizer, Jackie serves on the Rohnert Park City Council, where she helped bring the city to 100% renewable power. She's fighting for affordable housing, wildfire resilience, and the rights of immigrant and LGBTQ+ neighbors in the North Bay.
-

Isaac Bryan
State Assembly, District 55
A community organizer and founder of the UCLA Black Policy Project, Assemblymember Bryan chairs the Assembly Natural Resources Committee. He's a proven champion for care-first public safety and for the communities most impacted by incarceration.
State Senate
-

John Erickson
State Senate, District 24
A West Hollywood City Councilmember who finished first in the June primary, John is fighting for renters, LGBTQ+ Californians, and working families. His priorities are affordable housing, healthcare, and climate action.
-

Sarah Rascón
State Senate, District 26
Raised in El Sereno by her immigrant grandmother, Sarah is a first-generation college grad and environmental justice advocate who most recently led county and regional affairs for the L.A. Mayor's office. She's running to bring housing access, affordability, and environmental justice to the Eastside and beyond.
PROPOSITIONS & Measures
Where we stand on statewide and local measures, and why.
-
Proposition 39
Position: Vote no
Prop 39 would require government ID to vote in person and ID numbers on mail-ballot envelopes. It would cost taxpayers millions and put eligible voters at risk of having their ballots thrown out. Our votes shouldn't come with new barriers. -
Measure E
Position: Vote yes
Measure E sets clear rules for L.A. County’s ethics oversight, including how its officials are appointed, how long they serve, and what they’re responsible for. It also continues the County’s commitment to community investment and alternatives to incarceration. For L.A. County voters.

OUR COALITION
Power built by us, together.
A femme-led coalition building political power
for community-centered change.
We bring together organizers, activists, policymakers, and campaign experts across California to create a different kind of political space—one rooted in collective leadership, feminist values, and the lived experiences of impacted communities.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
A platform for a California that cares for its people
Our endorsements and political work are grounded in four commitments that define the future we’re fighting for.
01
California voters deserve leaders who put people’s fundamental needs first.
We reject a political status quo that leaves marginalized communities behind. We are building a unified voting bloc capable of electing leaders who center poor and working-class people, women, trans people, and communities historically excluded from political power.
PEOPLE OVER POLITICS
02
Everyone deserves to feel safe.
Criminalization and incarceration have failed to create safety for our communities. True public safety requires investing in housing, mental health care, youth development, substance use treatment, survivor support, community-based resources, and alternatives to incarceration.
SAFETY THROUGH CARE
03
Everyone deserves dignified work without harm.
California can lead in building an economy that values the work required to keep our communities healthy and whole. That means investing in care work, economic independence, and communities that have experienced generations of structural divestment.
A CARE ECONOMY
04
Gender should never be a barrier to dignity, health, or safety.
As women and trans people face escalating attacks on their civil, reproductive, and healthcare rights, we prioritize feminist leadership, survivor voices, bodily autonomy, and meaningful representation in the decisions that shape our lives.
GENDER JUSTICE
OUR COALITION
Power built by us, together.
A femme-led coalition building political power
for community-centered change.
We bring together organizers, activists, policymakers, and campaign experts across California to create a different kind of political space—one rooted in collective leadership, feminist values, and the lived experiences of impacted communities.
-

Clean Money, No Exceptions
We don't endorse candidates funded by the industries that profit from harming our communities. No police or prison guard union money. No corporate PAC money — including tech, real estate, pharmaceutical, and oil and gas interests. Candidates disclose their funding up front, and we verify it.
-

Alignment With Our Platform
Every candidate completes our questionnaire, and their answers have to hold up against our four commitments: people over politics, safety through care, a care economy, and gender justice. We're looking for a public record and a clear position — not vague sympathy.
-

A Real Path to Winning
We invest where we can move the outcome. We look at the basics — fundraising, field operation, name recognition, the shape of the district — to judge whether a candidate has a genuine shot. Viability is a judgment call, not a formula, and we weigh it against what a campaign builds even when the math is hard.
-

Rooted in the Communities We Serve
Geography and relationship both matter. We prioritize races where our member organizations have a base, where the communities we serve are directly affected by the outcome, and where a candidate is not just present in the district but answerable to it.
-

Accountability After the Endorsement
An endorsement is a relationship, not a permanent stamp. When survivors or community members raise concerns about a candidate's conduct, we listen first and we protect the people who come forward — no retaliation, ever. We hold candidates accountable and we work to hold them in love, which means honest process before public judgment. If we rescind an endorsement, we tell the public why.
